Botox is a purified protein used to address wrinkles associated with facial expression. When injected into the skin Botox will relax the muscles and smoothen out the overlying wrinkles. Yes, of course you can lay down, roll over or whatever else you want. I have injected Botox for over 20 years and am always amazed at the nonsensical instructions often given to Botox patients elsewhere. Botox is injected as a solution that's rapidly absorbed by the tissues into which it's injected. The solution isn't capable of moving around, so there's no need to avoid any positions or movements IMO. I always massage the injected Botox solution into the desired location (target area) immediately after it's injected.

Can you lie down after a face injection?

As you can see from many of these answers we recommend staying upright but there is no hard and fast regulation or proof that lying down does any harm. We like patients to have the best results. We know that remaining upright, avoiding strenuous exercise and not massaging the injected area is best practice and gives you the best outcome. However I know patients who have done all of these things after treatment and have not come to any harm whatsoever. As you have stated your face was not massaged. Although it was not recommended to you, I am sure you will be fine. The little bumps normally go away fairly quickly after treatment. I am sure they will settle in time. You may find that you might bruise more if you were quite warm with the massage, but I think you will be fine. If you have any concerns whatsoever pop in to see your doctor for a review and certainly attend your 2 week followup. I hope this helps.
