1. Can you combine Brow Lamination with Henna?

Although the two treatments are often combined, we don’t actually recommend it, as it forces the brow hairs to endure quite a lot and the result isn’t always the best. The outcome of a henna brow treatment is tight eyebrows, and brow lift the opposite with fluffy, upright brows; combining the two is too intense.

2. After which step do you apply eyebrow tint?

Brow lift treatments really put the brow hairs on center stage, so dying them a shade darker can be a great way to really have the brows pop. Apply a traditional brow tint after Step 2 of the Brow Lamination treatment, removing the setting lotion.

3. How long do laminated brows last?

The brushed up effect of Brow Lamination lasts about 4 to 6 weeks, but be sure to inform your clients that this doesn't happen by itself! To enjoy the lifted effect for weeks, the eyebrows must be combed in the desired direction every morning, so give your client a spoolie & show her how to best use it!

4. The lifted effect only lasts about a day. How is that possible?

Although Brow Lamination does not always guarantee perfectly lifted eyebrows for weeks, if the brows last only 1 day, likely your client made a mistake with her aftercare. Your client may have accidentally washed her face with water, perspired or slept on her eyebrows, causing the lifted eyebrow hairs to sag.

5. Can you perform Brow Lamination if a client is pregnant?

Due to contraindications we do not recommend Brow Lamination treatments during pregnancy and/or breastfeeding. The treatment could be less effective due to changing hormones or the skin may not respond as well to the treatment during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Ask her to come back in a few weeks or months to let her shine!

6. How do you remove the adhesive from the skin?

You use adhesive to stick the hair to the skin, but make sure you don't use too much: one stroke per eyebrow is enough! You can remove the residue in the last step with a moist cotton swab, or you can just leave it on the skin. If you're dealing with thinner hairs or hairs that are already quite high up, you can leave adhesive on as well.

7. What type of eyebrow hair is Brow Lamination not suitable for?

Brow Lamination is not suitable for extremely thin brows or very short brows. The choice is up to the client but as a professional, it’s best to give your advice, and it is often appreciated! It’s best to try to prevent your client from paying a lot of money for a disappointing result.
