Causes
Chemotherapy for Colorectal Cancer Chemotherapy (chemo) is treatment with anti-cancer drugs that may be injected into a vein or taken by mouth. These drugs travel through the bloodstream and reach most parts of the body. Chemo is often used to treat colorectal cancer.
Prevention
If your colon cancer is very small, your doctor may recommend a minimally invasive approach to surgery, such as: Removing polyps during a colonoscopy (polypectomy). Endoscopic mucosal resection. Minimally invasive surgery (laparoscopic surgery).
Complications
