Not What It Seems
I will preface by saying that the goal of this company is to help people overcome their addiction issues, and they are doing that. The main issue with the company is the lack of consistent staffing, extreme oversight by management, and inconsistent rules. There is constantly a staffing issue where someone is let go every at least every year.
Minimal training. Prejudice management
Minimal training. Prejudice head management towards certain staff and patients. Little management involvement. Other staff and clinicians are great. Great to help patients.
Not a good place to work
Management can and does make this a hostile and uncomfortable working environment. Executive Director is difficult and has created a chaotic and unhealthy work environment for staff.
Doctor is impossible
The doctor is very difficult to work for and doesn't know what he is talking about when it comes to methadone.... it's scary that he's running a methadone clinic.
Focused
Employees here are supportive of each others needs. We work long hours, but there are really no set scheduled. Its a high pace facility, so we are always on the move. We learn new things everyday.
Health Benefits Are Great, But That's About It
The health benefits are wonderful and Paid time off is reasonable. However, the pay is terrible because it places me in a donut hole where I do not qualify for social services but I do not make enough money to be self sufficient. It is almost worse than being unemployed. The culture here is unusual.
As a whole it is a good company to work for. I have grown in my profession for the past 2 years I am there. Having the opportunity to work in new cult
I work from 8 to 5pm everyday . I see close to 25 patients daily. I care for dual diagnosis patients . Work can be very demanding. Management is very poor, little knowledge of what it takes to care for a psych patient.I like the fact that I work very close with the therapist and clinical pasychologist.
