Fats, Oil & Grease (FOG) Program

The Fats, Oil, and Grease (FOG) Program is designed to help reduce the amount of such substances that enter the sewer system. Any food producing facility (including restaurants, churches, schools, etc.) is inspected throughout the year to ensure that grease traps are functioning correctly and cleaning schedules are being followed.

Sewer Maintenance

The Public Works Department maintains the Borough's 70 miles of public sewer pipe. The Sewer Collection Division is responsible for maintaining the sewer collection system.
