What is a private therapy session?

These private sessions give both clients and loved ones a safe space to heal, make amends, improve communication, and work together to strengthen the relationship. Many individuals who are addicted to drugs or alcohol also struggle with one or more mental health disorders, such as depression, anxiety, and PTSD.

What to do after leaving rehab?

From day one, we help you plan for your life after rehab. This includes helping you find a job, securing a positive living environment, setting up ongoing therapy, and anything else we can do to maximize your chances of having continued success after leaving our program. While reentering everyday life as a sober individual is an exciting time for our clients, it can also present new challenges. That’s why as clients complete their last day in rehab, they are welcomed into our tight-knit Alumni community where they’ll be able to stay connected to the men they were in treatment with, as well as those that came before them, and those that will come after. This ongoing fellowship provides each person with the network of support they need to maintain a life-long recovery.

Structured sober living for men ages 21 to 65 who are in the early stages of addiction recovery. Eligible candidates are employable men with 30 days or more of sobriety and/or men with a source of income who are willing to engage in substance abuse treatment and recovery support. What is residential treatment?

Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.

What is an outpatient program?

Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

Completing a drug or alcohol rehab program shouldn’t spell the end of substance abuse treatment. Aftercare involves making a sustainable plan for recovery, including ongoing support. This can include sober living arrangements like halfway houses, career counseling, and setting a patient up with community programs like Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) or Narcotics Anonymous (NA). Their patients begin to develop an aftercare plan with their therapy team early in the treatment process and will each receive an aftercare plan specific to their circumstances and situations.
