Step 1: Shampoo the hair with the Ion Keratin Clarifying Shampoo. Shampoo 5 times for virgin, gray or resistant hair. Shampoo 4 t imes for color treated hair. Shampoo 3 times for highlighted or fine hair. For each shampoo, leave the product on the hair for at least 30 seconds prior to rinsing. (Focus on cleansing the hair, not the scalp).

How to remove keratin from hair?
Shampoos, conditioners, and styling products containing sodium chloride will remove the keratin coating from the hair. Note: Color services up to 20 volume hydrogen peroxide can be applied same day. Shampoo 3-5 times according to the above directions. Dry the hair 50-100% then proceed with color application.
How long to blow dry hair at room temperature?
Step 4: Allow to process for 15 minutes at room temperature for normal hair and up to 20 minutes for resistant hair. After the appropriate time has elapsed, use a paddle or vent brush to blow-dry the hair completely. Step 5: Re-section the hair.
