My parents always loved him, not necessarily for what he did in the boxing ring but I think that it was more for standing up for the oppressed and refusing to give in to what in that time would have been thought of as the right thing to do. he stood his ground, stayed firm in what he believed in even though it meant giving up fame and even money.
