What is substance rehab?

What is group therapy?
Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). High volume, high pressure environment
SITC is the hardest job I ever had. The focus on productivity usually overrides the focus on quality clinical care. Patients are generally uncooperative so engaging them in treatment is often more than frustrating. You need extraordinary amounts of patience and internal motivation to succeed in this position.
Great team atmosphere
Great clinicians and folks truly work as a team. The schedule is hard, due to having to be at work at 5:00am. Managers are approachable, and ready to help you succeed in the position. Pay could be better.
Good place to work
Learned a lot about the recovery process. It is truly a disease and people don't choose this fight.I think I have a better insight into the opioid crisis by working around it and seeing people needing to recover from it.
Good place for learning
I was doing my internship here and I learned a lot. It was a great learning place and I would go back. The hardest part of the job was getting up at 4 in the morning. The most enjoyment was my mentor whom taught me.
High attrition
At the time of my employment I carried over 85 clients and the state limit was 60. I was required to scrub toilets and mop floors as an educated addiction counselor. In my 2 and 1/2 years employed there I had 7 supervisors.
