This is an awesome product

An awesome product and a great lip plumper. My acne scars are much better

Hydro Boost Sunscreen

Obsessed with this SPF. The most hydrating formula that doesn’t leave your skin feeling sticky or oily. I am obsessed to say the least.

Can't believe it

I only get little break outs here and there which are usually self-limiting but I am currently extremely stressed and think that its the cause for my particularly bad forehead acne which I have had for weeks. I bought this 2 nights ago and already they it has almost completely cleared.

What does it do?

It quite literally puts spots in a spotlight, but with the aim of shrinking them. Apply the pen directly to a spot for two minutes and the energy generated from red and blue LED light is intended to nix the acne causing bacteria P.acnes and associated inflammation.

Who is it for?

If you suffer from the odd explosive breakout, the pen is very useful for calming isolated spots instantly- I found that it brought down swelling and helped me to swerve the usual cycle and duration of zit aggression.

The verdict

It’s not a magic wand, but it comes fairly close where putting pimples in their place goes, and I’d happily invest again once the battery runs out for another tool in my spot-fighting arsenal.

Day 1: Getting started

Although I did my first treatment while enjoying my morning coffee, I totally could have done it in a sleepy, pre-caffeinated haze.

Day 2: Making zit-zapping part of my daily routine

I recently bought a fancy electric toothbrush, and this morning, while I gave it a whirl, I decided to also do my acne treatment. Both devices are timed to work for two minutes.

Day 3: Results ... and a new nemesis

Wow! I woke up this morning, and to my delight, what had been a Rudolph-like spot had faded from bright red to a faint pink, and had shrunk in size. Plus, it no longer hurt to touch.

Day 5: A teachable moment

A funny thing happened this morning. My 7-year-old daughter was in my bathroom, pointed to the device, and wondered aloud: “Mom, is this a teeny, tiny flashlight?”

A week later ..

As I come to the end of my test drive, my pimples are barely noticeable, and I don’t see or feel anything new on the horizon. And I don’t have any of the flaking that I typically get when my pimples have been treated with a topical product, which is awesome.
