Updates

Roxbury Treatment Center recently unveiled their new recharge room- The Rest Nest! This cozy space is available to staff 24/7 to visit when they need to relax, unwind, debrief, or just spend a few quiet moments. The massage chair seems to be a big hit as well as the Mod Pod bean bag chair. Quiet lights and aromatherapy set the tone for relaxation.

Staff was great

Staff was great and the clinical director was awesome, but you are mistreated and disrespected by the patients. I was on the CD floor and we were getting psych patients

Horrible

Trust me, you don't want to work here. Its just plain terrible. The staff are treated unfairly and basically abused. The patients receive no real treatment.

Working together to make people better

I enjoyed working here. It was a team environment. I enjoyed helping people ☺ staff always looking to help clients. Clients dealing with depression. It was nice to see how people were on their way to recovery

Okay place to work

Loved the work but the pay is very low. All in all not a bad place to work. I feel as if things could be a little bit more organized with the company as a whole.

Poor management, short staffed, harsh work, low pay

There is a severe lack of support for floor staff. It is high turnover rate, short staffed, high risk job for low pay. Management does not provide support to their staff, they don't know they should provide support, when they've been told about this and have attempted to support employees they have no idea how to support them..

not a good place

This is one of the worst places to work. Staff are underpaid and mistreated by management. They are always extremely understaffed on all shifts throughout the building making it very unsafe.

Horrible Management

Benefits are great, but thats where it ends. Bad management from the top down. Very disrespectful to the staff and the place is always dirty due to lack of staffing and support from management.

Rewarding, but fast paced environment

You interact with patients and get to know them on a personal level. There are nice benefits, and can easily transfer to another UHS facility if you are planning on moving in the future.

Horrible

Management only cares about the money not the patients. Pay is extremely low, huge turn over and extremely under staffed (Very unsafe). Nurses are extremely rude. They hire unqualified people for almost every single position making it impossible for patients to receive what they are there for.

Unsafe, Unethical and Mismanaged

Stepping stone to working with patients with mental illness and substance abuse diagnosis
