About the Procedure

For patients with minor skin irregularities in tone and texture, Clear + Brilliant can help to improve and restore a youthful appearance to the skin. Clear + Brilliant is a type of non-ablative fractional laser.

Recovery Notes

Following a Clear + Brilliant treatment the skin will be temporarily red and swollen. Cool compresses may be applied to reduce any discomfort. Most patients resume normal activity the same day as treatment but should avoid strenuous activity until the skin is completely healed. Avoid sun exposure to prevent new damage in skin tone or texture.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal Clear + Brilliant candidate fine lines, minor skin tone and texture irregularities such as sun spots or acne scarring and desires a gradual improvement in their complexion.

Not Recommended For

Patients who are currently undergoing or have had Accutane treatment within the past 12 months, have a history of hypertrophic scarring, or are pregnant or breastfeeding should not have Clear + Brilliant treatments.

Side Effects

Side effects from Clear + Brilliant treatments may include redness, swelling, discomfort, itching sensation, milia or acne formation, or a reactiviation of herpes simplex.
