About This Window Treatment
The valance features trumpets and jabots that alternate between beautifully scalloped flat swags. Usually, trumpet and jabot valances are more formal, but we have a put a twist on a traditional valance to give it a new look. The jabots are a bit shorter and the swags are flat.
Suggested Measuring Instructions
Standard Instructions Note that this width is the finished width – in other words, it is the width span of the slightly gathered, finished form as is shown in our photos (this valance hangs loosely – it is not pulled completely taught). The finished width is measured at the tabs.
Steps
1. The swag pattern can be adjusted for the width of the window so follow the instructions to cut both a top panel and a lining panel. 2. Once the pieces are lined, the gathering process takes place.
