Answers 1. Piggy probably was the boys' best chance for getting rescued or at least surviving in a civilized way. Piggy was organized, innovative (he wanted to build a clock!) and respected the rule of order. Unfortunately the boys used Piggy as their big joke because of his looks and asthma.
