Good place to gain experience in customer service and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, sound and audio, and fiberglass. No room for promotion or advancement.
There is a variety of jobs and the quality, pay, and benefits depend on what your doing
I work in the wardrobe department and I love it there. the people are wonderful and I enjoy my work. the pay is not fantastic, and being off of work for 3 months of the year (off season) is rough. As a technically seasonal worker I'm not offered benefits, or any kind of sick pay.
Entertainment dept. management is not that great
The overall job experience is different and fun, I have bonded greatly and love the people I work with, but you can't have much of a social life with the long hours. Management is lacking as far as team building and communication goes.
Get in the Office
The jobs in the office where you barely go to the park are the best. I gained a lot of experience and had a great aura. Even day to day work was alway fun and exciteing.
Could be great but not with current management
Will ruin a good worker by lack of discipline for poor workers. Extremely heavy workload and very little resources. Obvious problems are let go until things no longer function and then you are are executed to fix it instantly.
Six flags is a fun environment and relaxed place to work
Six Flags has a very fun and relaxed work environment. It is a great option for a entry level position or seasonal work. I would recommend a position here.
Not a fun workplace
Have to watch each and every ride. The supervisors can be disrespectful and very demanding. They also didn't give us that many breaks in between our shifts.
