Required Exorbitant "Exam" Fee Not In "Upfront Pricing"
I gave 2 stars instead of 1 because of the convenience - a good location, handy hours and no appointment necessary. Their website claims "Upfront Pricing", but my dog's rabies shot had an addition fee of $28 for a required "exam".
Care went way downhill over past 2 years.. no longer recommend
Been using this vet clinic service for almost 20 years. It has gone way downhill in the past 2 years.
They offer a half off first visit
They offer a half off first visit, we had told the vet our dog was current on all shots and had already had skin scrapings done. They went ahead and repeated everything we had said she was tested for, told us exactly what we had said, then get presented with a bill for over 250.00 and this is half price.

They won't see sick animals
Straight up, they refused to see my sick cat. I waited in line at Petfood Express (no offense to them) in Long Beach. No one said, we don't look at sick animals, as I was checking in. Not while I waited in the parking lot for forty minutes. Only when it was my turn.
VIP Pet Clinic
I went to the VIP pet clinic located in Pet Supplies Plus in Oak Lawn. I have been there before but it has been a few years. After speaking with the associate about what services I needed for my shih tzu's I handed my dog over. While trying to care for her he had no idea how to hold her. He had her by the neck and upper chest and she was yelping.
Horrible experience!
Horrible experience!! First of all all i wanted was annual rabies shot and yearly basic shots. I explained this to the girl at check in and went over the ones i wanted..i had a coupon for free rabies shots. I also needed heartgaurd..both of my dogs are old girls and both have heartworms. I had moved to this area just a year ago.
