INTRO Hey guys, and welcome to the third episode of my Rust Tips & Tricks series. This ongoing series is designed to guide players through rust. If you have any suggestions for videos to add to the series, please feel free to let me know in the comments.

How to find the key card in the harbor?

Firstly, you want to find this building which is on the outskirts of the harbor. Head into the bottom floor, put a fuse in and flip the switch. Head back out and up to the top floor, swipe your green key card and you’re in. You’ll find 1 or 2 crates and a blue key card on the desk.

None of the key cards seem to be rare provided you know where to look for them and they seem to spawn very quickly. Additionally, it’s important to note that in order to use a key card it actually has to be in your hands and you attack the keypads with them to swipe them through and unlock the doors.

The next monument where you can find the red keycard in Rust is at the Trainyard, which may also be the easiest and most lucrative spot to nab one. You will just need a blue keycard and a fuse for this monument.

Take the stairs up, and then the stairs on the left until you see a door with a “ Control Room ” sign above it. Go to the right of this door and then place your fuse in the fusebox, which will allow you to use your blue keycard on the Control Room door.
