Starting Off

Now that we've talked about the patient process, I want to tell you nine rules that sum up what I've found is consistent across my three-star hospitals across the game.

The First Diagnosis

Every new patient will go to the GP's Office as their first visit. Depending on the modifiers involved (e.g the Doctor's skills, Medicine Cabinets on the room, buffs, etc) the game will calculate the diagnosis percentage achieved on the first visit. If it doesn't reach 100% on the first visit, the patient will then go to another diagnosis room.

How the game determines which room the patient will go on their second visit

Every illness has a hidden modifier value for every diagnosis room. For instance: 8-Bitten has a 30% modifier on General Diagnosis and a 12% modifier on M.E.G.A Scan, and General Diagnosis is also the highest modifier out of all the rooms, that means that a patient suffering 8-Bitten will always favour General Diagnosis.

How to use this data

Simply check the illnesses tab in-game and see which ones you're getting the most of. You can also refer to this table when you're doing Marketing Campaigns for specific illnesses. See which rooms have the highest modifier for that illness and favour those over others with lower modifiers.
