Where does Seguin Texas get its water from?

Canyon Regional Water Authority (CRWA) provides additional 2,425 acre feet of surface water per year. Groundwater is obtained from three wells operated and owned by SHWSC and located in the Carrizo Aquifer producing approximately 400 acre feet per year per well.

Does Seguin boil water?

PLEASE NOTE: Seguin is NOT under a boil water advisory. Seguin's water system is running effectively and there is no need to boil water. Just as we are asking citizens to conserve their power usage due to rolling blackouts, this is also a good time for residents to conserve water usage.

Does Seguin have water?

The City of Seguin Utilities Department maintains 8,500 Electric and 8,000 Water meters throughout the City.

Municipally owned and operated, the City of Seguin Electric Department is responsible for maintaining the City's power distribution systems and three substations. The city, which owns its own electricity distribution system, purchases wholesale power from CPS Energy in San Antonio.
