Free mammograms are available to eligible women through the Greenwich Hospital Partnership for Breast Health. You may qualify if you are 40 or older, are low-income and have no health insurance.

An experienced psychotherapist offers counseling and stress management to help patients and families cope with cancer and its impact on their lives. Information on support resources and educational programs is also available. Provided by Community Health at the Smilow Specialty Physician Suite 3-3200 at Greenwich Hospital.
Consultations
Breast cancer patients who will undergo mastectomy surgery can meet one-on-one with a registered nurse to ask questions and understand what to expect before and after surgery. Please call for an appointment: 203-863-4250. FREE.

Coping with the pain often associated with cancer at all stages of the disease can take a toll on patients and their caregivers. Effective, customized pain management can allow patients to continue with treatment and improve their quality of life.
Education
This free educational program for cancer patients and their caregivers, family andfriends helps dispel cancer myths with straightforward information and answers to cancer-related questions. Offered periodically in partnership with the American Cancer Society. FREE.
Support Groups
Encore is a free YWCA program for women who have had breast cancer surgery. The program consists of group discussions to identify and share common concerns as well as floor and swimming exercises. If you are three weeks or more postoperative and have received your physician's permission, you are welcome to attend. Mondays at 12:30 p.m.
