Step 1

The first thing you will want to do is heat up the wax. Your manicurist at your spa facility probably already has a vat of warm wax already melted and ready to go. However, if not, they will begin by melting the wax until it is completely liquefied.

Step 2

Some manicurists will place a layer of lotion on your hands before they dip them into the wax bath. This lotion will be applied and then rubbed into your hands.

Step 3

Once ready, your manicurist will take your hands and dip them into the wax. She will then pull your hands out and allow the wax to cool for a few seconds and then repeat the process again. She will dip your hands multiple times to create a thick coat of wax on your hands.

Step 4

After the wax is on your hands and dry, your manicurist will then wrap your hands with plastic wrap. The wrap will then be left on your hands for up to 30 minutes.

Step 5

After the time has passed, the plastic wrap will be removed and then your nail technician will begin removing the wax from your hands. This process does not hurt and once it is done, you will have silky soft hands.

Step 6

After the wax is removed, lotion will be massaged into your hands before done. This will help your hands feel refreshed and moisturized.
