Water is critical for the survival of life on earth, and eradicating contamination from it is equally important. Water use has increased dramatically as a result of industrialization due to its use in industrial production. Increased manufacturing contributes to enormous industrial waste generation.

Wastewater containing heavy metals discarded in the environment on a large scale in recent years ( O'Connell et al., 2008 ). The most dangerous contaminants like copper (Cu), cadmium (Cd), chromium (Cr), nickel (Ni), and lead (Pb) are present in freshwater reservoirs.
