The amount of kybella needed varies with the patient, their anatomy, the volume of extra fatty tissue present, and their GOAL! It's really not unusual to require 2-3 vials per treatment and it's also not unusual to need 2-3 sessions (depending on the aforementioned parameters).

Answer: Using More Than 2 Vials of Kybella Per Treatment? Two to Three Vials Isn't Unusual

Three vials per treatment of Kybella is not unusual. However, I don't ever use more than 2 CC as I find that more than that may cause excessive swelling. Even though you don't have much submental fat, only about 20% to 30% can be removed at a time no matter how many vials are used, so you will probably need more than one treatment session.

Two to three vials per Kybella treatment is pretty standard. You want to ensure you use enough to have a meaningful result, otherwise it is not worth the time or money. Though I would need to see you in person in order to verify how many vials would be best for you, it doesn't sound like you are getting an unusual recommendation.
