Rewarding with a touch of strenuous
The actual work is extremely rewarding. The residents are loving and taking care of them is a blessing. The administration and work politics on the other hand make it an extremely strenuous and tedious experience.
More productive than other nursing homes
I love working here! My residents are awesome! We treat each other like family! Scheduling is flexible and we work was much as we can together to fix the problem
A terrible place too work
The cnas are insubordinate , its tense , stressful and understaffed. Too much favoritism. Always short staffed making the work is harder. Management is allowing bad behavior, and discord amongst staff, totally ineffective team.
Would not recommend
Go work somewhere else. Poor management no leadership there. Employees not appreciated at all don’t even get a simple thank you. Stay away or find another place to work in the area.
No room for advancement
Very poorly run at the time with an unapproachable DON. Things were not organized for residents sake. There were lots of things going on that would not have gone well had state walked in the door.
Would never work in a place like this again
Very unappreciative people to work for, very dirty place to work in, just would not recommend it unless you would like a lot of stress in your life. Very understaffed people there do the minimum they have to not recommended
Don't do it
This facility is about the poorest run, poorest function and poorest staffed facility I've ever worked in. The care is substandard and "profit before people" would be an accurate slogan for them. If you desire to work under indifferent and apathetic 'leadership' and dangerously low staffing, this is for you.
