How long does Hartz flea treatment last on cats?

All monthly flea and tick topical treatments are required to undergo independent testing which proves that use of their products on cats and dogs will result in a 90% reduction in pest infestation for up to 4 weeks. All Hartz flea and tick products meet those efficacy standards established by the EPA.

Does Hartz make flea drops?

We recommend that you keep the dog or cat from getting wet until the application site is completely dry, usually 48 hours. Can I use another flea and tick product after applying a Hartz® UltraGuard® product? No. Products should be applied independently, according to package directions.

How long does it take for a flea pill to work?

It's a one time pill that starts killing adult fleas in 30 minutes and is safe to use with a topical treatment. Use a monthly preventive on all pets for at least 3 consecutive months to break the flea life cycle. Year round use is preferred.
