How long does the Insight program take to work?

There is no time frame as to how long the Insight program will take for your child to graduate. Every child’s program is based on the individual child and it will depend on how much hard work and dedication the kid puts into their recovery. This is not an easy fix; the entire family must fully participate.

How many hours of counseling does a teen need?

They receive a 6 hours of group counseling per day, attend 12-step meetings for young people daily, and participate in three weekly sober social events with positive peers. They also receive weekly individual counseling and individualized treatment planning.

How long does it take for a teenager to recover from substance abuse?

For the 45 days teenagers are receiving residential substance abuse treatment, they are also being exposed to a positive group of other teens involved in recovery. This allows each client to gain both an understanding of enthusiastic recovery and an opportunity to experience sobriety that is fun and engaging.

What is the benefit of residential care at Step Two?

The main benefit of receiving residential care at Step Two is being able to focus on recovery without distractions. Parental involvement is a key to success while a teen is in Step Two. Parents are encouraged to participate in parent support group meetings, counseling sessions, and parent education.

What is step 2 resident?

Whatever the reason, Step Two residents are young people who are ready to undergo a massive transformation in outlook in order to seek a new way of life.

Does Step One have its own treatment group?

What is the Insight program?

Insight is a private program which is twelve step based and offers a network of interacting services including a fee based intensive outpatient program and an 18 – 30 month support group. The Insight Program is committed to the idea that drug and alcohol abuse affects the entire family and therefore offers counseling and support groups for parents.

Treatment
