Reverse Osmosis System

Hi I am new to this group. I am going to be completely honest and don’t know shit about water treatment haha. But my employer gave me the opportunity to work in water treatment. So they are currently thinking about bypassing the filtration system and sending the waste water straight into the reverse osmosis system.

New system, need pointers

I am just now finishing up installing my new water treatment system. I have a neutralizer to increase my ph from 6.5, to hopefully 7, a back washing iron filter (iron is 10ppm) and then a softener. My question is how often should I program the neutralizer, and iron filter to go through their backwash cycles?

Advice for carbon fines from whole home water system

I'm wondering if you can help me solve a problem with my home water purification system. It's a 2.5 CF catalytic carbon system that we're using on city water (I know . . . likely not necessary, but that's not my question).

Apec RO System vs Waterdrop (tankless)

I'm looking for an undersink RO system and recently learned of the Tankless options, but I don't feel like the reviews and comparisons online are particularly thorough or reputable, so I thought I'd try posting here!

Operators! Seeking inspiration for a song about wastewater

A colleague of mine passed away recently and I’d like to honor him with a bluegrass song about operating a treatment plant in Heaven. Silly, I know. But hey, at least it’s not going to be a litany of stupid poop jokes.

Jobs

My son has an AAS degree in water technology and loves the field. But he injured his back and would have a hard time doing wastewater. Are there other jobs he can do in the field? Where can he look? Thanks for any help.

Just a little bit of rain
