Is Janie still here to help with NDT?

We’ve all been through the ringer “again” with all the changes in NDT, but she’s still right here to help us all. Thank you Janie! Agreed, Michele! I have a wonderful thyroid doctor, but no comparison to Janie as far as finding resources, understanding labs, and always what the next step should be.

Did they change tablets in May 2019?

UPDATE #1 on August 24th: So far, it appears that negative changes may have started in May, 2019 for some. But we don’t yet have proof that the changed tablets were coming out in May. We will continue watching for comments.

Is Acella’s NDT powder FDA approved?

Yes, what you did with labs was fine. To all who still has energy to fight! As Acella claims that “…the Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) is now sourced from an FDA-inspected facility in Europe”, but refuses to appoint the country and producer of the NDT powder, perhaps should we try to write there and ask whats going on:

When did stem cells start to work for osteoarthritis?

Stem cell treatments for osteoarthritis began as early as 2008. Mostly, doctors have injected stem cells directly into affected areas, hoping the cells would stay in place and turn into cartilage. But this method has proven unsuccessful, as the cells tend to float away within a couple of weeks.

Does TNF block arthritis?

Several available drugs block the TNF pathway to treat arthritis. “These drugs work in about half of all patients,” Guilak said, “but they’re given at high doses continuously, even though the disease waxes and wanes. What you really want is something that’s only given when there is a flare in the disease.”.

Does the America the Beautiful pass work?

Yes, this America the Beautiful pass will work. From the wta.org website "Federal recreation sites include: national forests; national parks; national wildlife refuges; national historic sites; Bureau of Land Management lands; and places managed by the Bureau of Reclamation. An America the Beautiful Interagency pass gets named passholders into all of these sites; a Northwest Forest Pass allows trailhead parking on national forests only."
